DESCRIPTION:Join Explore & More Children’s Museum and The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library for a celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. This project\, “We the People: A Quilt of Belonging\,” will celebrate the diversity of America and New York State. \nIn this workshop\, led by Explore & More teaching artists\, children (ages 5-10) will make quilt squares reflecting their family heritage and connection to Erie County. Participants will be invited to contribute their square to a collaborative\, county-wide quilt project. The collection of fabric squares will be assembled into a completed quilt and displayed by the Library.
