Author Dan Murphy will read a selection from his new book, “Ed Don George: The Remarkable Life of an Olympian and Pro Wrestling Champion,” followed by a book signing. Ed Don George is a WNY native and has been inducted into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame. Though he was one of Buffalo’s most well-known athletes – drawing crowds of more than 30,000 people during The Great Depression – his story has been largely forgotten.
