Buffalo Film: Call for Submissions for Kat’s Backyard Film Fest
Kat’s Backyard Film Fest is one installment of Backyard Shenanigans, an annual summer series of interactive art experiences hosted in a backyard setting that cultivates community & creative connections. This is Backyard Shenanigans’ first film festival and the event will open with an open mic. Submissions are due May 15th.
The festival starts June 14.
All genres/forms accepted. Seeking narratives, documentaries, music videos, animation, and experimental works. Applicants should be 18 and over.
Film entries should not exceed 45 minutes.
Due to the 50th year anniversary of Buffalo’s Juneteenth Festival Celebration, priority will be given to Black Buffalo-based filmmakers. All other filmmakers are encouraged to still apply.
