Buffalo Literature: Buffalo Read-in via local bookstores

March 2 @ 7:00 pm

If you were motivated by the shopping strike a few weeks back, and if you want to take part in ongoing support for our vibrant immigrant communities, we have the PERFECT activity for you.

On March 2, readers all over Buffalo will gather in one spot for a read in to learn more about the lives of immigrants. We will read books on one topic to demonstrate solidarity. 20% of the book purchases will go to our friends at Justice for Migrant Families and your support of local bookstores will ensure that we can keep our community vibrant (and well-read!).

Want to participate? Go to any of the participating bookstores and order a copy of the selected titles. Your purchase is your ticket to the event.
We will meet at Black Rock Books at 1239 Niagara Street (you’ll get to see the secret back of the store!) and read together for an hour. We hope to gather many people in one space to live out Buffalo’s motto of the City of Good Neighbors.
