Meet our performers:
Karma Queen
Karma Queen is a five-piece indie band from Buffalo, NY. Inspired by bands like CHVRCHES, Florence and the Machine, Paramore, and Beabadoobee, Karma Queen welds together shimmering guitar riffs, clever lyrics, and catchy grooves.
Lead vocalist Kaley Lynch and drummer/ bari saxophonist Evan Kaminski played in a band together for five years prior to forming Karma Queen with Kaley’s sister, guitarist Andrea Lynch, and bassist Mike Militello. Drummer/keyboardist Mark Niewiemski rounds out the sound. Every member of the band plays more than one instrument, providing a unique and pliable sound.
DoDriver
All DoDriver music showcases the bands head-bobbing rhythms, strong vocal lines and memorable songs. Check out the newest album “Bound By The Sound” featuring 11 songs that continue the tradition of DoDriver’s craftsmanship and commitment to timeless, energetic and subtlety difficult riffs! On Friday, August 13th 2010 DoDriver had the honor and privilege to open for rock icons KISS!! Through a contest sponsored by Guitar Center, DoDriver was chosen from the top five finishers in a two month long vote-based contest. KISS chose DoDriver as the winning band after listening to the music of all five finalists. The Show was at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Darien, NY
Trever Stribing of PA LINE
My life, consumed by music, has become a growing entity of well-being, and success. While I feel appreciation and satisfaction for the things that I [have] experienced and have had the opportunity with, I will always try to leave plenty of room for improvement. Music is my escape, my control, and the lyrics I write are not only my emotions that I allow myself to release, but also my personal experiences that have had, and continue to have great effect upon my life. With the loss of my adoptive father, Jeffrey J. Stribing, I was in dire need of adaptation, A change in my music was imminent. I had always been fond of folk music. It had seemed to bring a “Family-type” connection between artist and fan. Consistently trying to bring myself closer to my fans I knew this would be my “in”. To tell a story, to bring a smile, to cast a tear, these are the little things that I find joy in. I pray any listener can enjoy the melodies myself and my band bring to them. “PEACE ALWAYS” – Trever J. L. Stribing
Jagged Little Bills
