Sketches for North East South West is a devised site-specific movement piece exploring the characters of an original multimedia work in the making, Compass.

Four women of varying backgrounds and ages will someday each pack a bag and leave home. In Sketches, they encounter inner questions that motivate physical gestures and interactions. Set in the ever growing stacks of Fitz Books, the characters navigate their impulses with the realities of public space, the architecture, smells and soundscapes of the bookstore.
