The original, 1935 program will be performed Saturday and Sunday

On Thursday, November 7, 1935 Lajos Shuk brought down the baton and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra played the first bars of Beethoven’s “Egmont” Overture.

On Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10, the JoAnn Falletta will reprise that first concert at Kleinhans Music Hall by playing “Egmont,” Claude Debussy’s “Nocturnes,” and Brahms’ Symphony No. 3 in F.
