Dylan Carlino will perform five shows this weekend at Helium. Named the funniest person in Austin in 2023, Carlino has been featured in multiple festivals including the Mass Moca Comedy Festival, the Moontower Comedy Festival and was featured on “Netflix is a Joke.” He also hosts the “Some Of This Is Bad” podcast with Colton Dowling.

Friday, June 27

Buffalo Improv House, 255 Great Arrow Ave., Suite 207, Buffalo. 

Improv Collider, two of the BIH’s house teams perform on a double bill. 7 p.m., tickets $8 presale or $10 general admission. 

Confessions: An improv show with scenes inspired by secret confessions from the audience. 8 p.m., tickets $12 presale or $15 at the door.

Buffalo Comedy Collective, 155 Chandler Street, Buffalo.

Comedy Sportz match-up. Two teams “competitively” play short form improv games with suggestions from the audience, who also decides the winner. 7:30 p.m., tickets $18. 

Pointing Fingers, a game where special guests attempt to uncover each other’s secrets with fun and provocative questions. This month’s guests are Buffalo’s original Golden Girls. 9:30 p.m., tickets $18.

Saturday, June 28

Buffalo Comedy Collective, 155 Chandler Street, Buffalo.  

Death at the Disco: A 1970’s themed murder mystery. The event starts out at BCC and then you board a double-decker bus and proceed to RiverWorks and the Hofbrauhaus for stops and drinks. Guests interview the actor suspects at each location. 5:30 p.m., tickets $35

ComedySportz Saturday match-up. Two teams “competitively” play short form improv games with suggestions from the audience, who also decides the winner. 6 p.m., tickets $18. 

Dynamic Duos, six roster members from CSz Pros and BCC Shorties Program are paired up for two-person scenes. After each pair performs, the audience votes for their favorite scene and the pairs switch to do it all again, twice. The performer with the most points by the end wins. 8:30 p.m., tickets $18.

Tuesday, July 1

Rust Belt Comedy Showcase, Buffalo’s longest running comedy open mic. Free.

The sixth and final show of the preliminary round of the “2025 Buffalo’s Funniest Person” contest where the winners are determined by audience vote.

Sandwiches of History Live. Barry Enderwick is celebrating the new “Sandwiches of History: The Cookbook” by hitting the road with a new multimedia show that is part TED-Talk, part comedy, part trivia battle and part sandwich-making extravaganza. The show includes a special guest, live sandwich making and tasting with audience-suggested plus ups, Q&A and more surprises.
