Buffalo Comedy: Several comedians are set to take the comedy stage in Buffalo this weekend

Thursday, Nov. 13

Buffalo Improv House, 255 Great Arrow Ave., Suite 207, Buffalo.
Improv Mixer, a relaxed environment to try out improv or just to watch. Sign-ups at 6:45 p.m., 7 p.m. start. $5 suggested or pay what you can.

Monét X Change is the first double crown winner from RuPaul’s Drag Race having earned the title Miss Congeniality on Season 10 and became the first queen of color inducted into the Hall of Fame after winning All-Stars 4.

Kevin McCaffrey will appear two nights at RPT. McCaffrey has been seen on VH1, Comedy Central, MTV, and Late Night with David Letterman. He hosted TruTv’s World’s Dumbest Crimes and was a contributing writer for several of the National Lampoon movies and is the 2-time defending champ of TruTv’s Comedy Knockout Series.

Friday, Nov. 14 

Buffalo Comedy Collective, 155 Chandler Street, Buffalo. 

Comedy Sportz match-up. Two teams “competitively” play short form improv games with suggestions from the audience, who also decides the winner. 7:30 p.m., tickets $18.

“Castles and Creatures,” an improv show inspired by every nerd’s favorite role playing game, improvisers go on a quest featuring elves, gnomes, dwarves, wizards, monsters, spells and probably humans. 7 p.m., tickets $12 presale or $15 general admission.

Joe Wong might be the comic we need and deserve at this time. Wong’s comedy thesis is his constitutional right to pursue happiness, which includes; money, power, and more importantly sex, drugs, and rock’n roll. And his comedy mission statement would be: embarrassment haunts outsiders often, but his solution to any embarrassing situation is to make it even more embarrassing.

Mark Normand brings his “Ya Don’t Say” tour to Fallsview. Normand is one of the best joke writers in standup right now for those who enjoy the classic set-up, punch line comedy. His last special “Soup To Nuts,” spent a lot of time in the top ten charts and he has appeared seven times on Conan. Norman is a frequent guest on Joe Rogan’s podcast, whatever that means to you, and hosts the Tuesdays with Stories and We Might Be Drunk podcasts.

“That Comedy Show at Babeville,” a monthly showcase of different comics from Buffalo and surrounding areas. The lineup is Annamarie DePalma, Frank Corbiserie, Brody Walsh, Kyle Turner, Josh Prygon and hosted by Jacob Morrison.

Third Space Cafe & Entertainment, 777 Main St., Buffalo, 8 p.m.

A Comedy & Music Charity Show with all proceeds going to Rachael’s Warrior Run. Performers are Rachel Daze, Annamarie DePalma, Cat Mattis, Kelsey McCormick, Liz Reaves, Katarina Valentine and host Katie June. The Bitchin Hour $ Spud will bring the music. Donations accepted at the door.   

Saturday, Nov. 15

Level Three Harold Showcase: advanced students perform the Harold, the format where characters and ideas return in scenes and weave together in different ways.  

Musical Improv Showcase: students perform a completely improvised musical.

The BCC Shorties, the farm team for ComedySportz, hit the stage with host and coach Sal Winston for fast-paced shortform games. As an audience member make sure your suggestion game is on point. .

Chloe Radcliffe was named to both Deadline’s 15 Comedians Ready To Break Out in 2025 and Vulture’s Comedians You Should and Will Know. Her one-woman-show “Cheat,” about her history of serially cheating in relationships, created a lot of industry buzz. Radcliffe’s YouTube interview series “In Tandem,” in which she talks with fellow comics while riding a tandem bike through New York City or Los Angeles. Her singular POV is influenced by her experience of having a large birthmark on her cheek.
