18th Annual Japan Culture Day “Bunka No Hi” at The Buffalo History Museum. Activites include bonsai, calligraphy, folk crafts, origami, Ikebana, tea ceremony, and traditional performances. Hosted by Friends of the Japanese Garden of Buffalo. 12 – 330pm

3rd Annual Allentown Existential Chili Cookoff at Nietzsche’s. For chili entrants, sign up at The Intersection Cafe. Please provide your own crockpot as loaners are limited, and bring a power strip/extension cord with you. Best in show winners will split half the total proceeds with the rest benefitting Friends of Night People. 2pm – $10 to enter a dish, $5 to judge the chili
