Episode 35: Benjamin Joe and Max Fisher interview musicians, artists

Giuls of The Mookies talked about the band and the indie scene in Buffalo in a conversation on the BMP podcast.

We were really excited as The Mookies have been recording at Watchman Studios with Nate of the RomCom Victims, plus, they sport a saxophone player as well as traditional ‘rock band’ instruments. They’ve been labeled a lot, mostly as indie-rock, but Giuls said a newer single is more ‘punk rock.’

An accomplished lyricist, Giuls talked about her process with the rest of the band and her own history as an open mic participant and songwriter.
