Jeff Nixon is widely recognized for his defensive career with the Buffalo Bills, yet his life is equally defined by his craftsmanship as a musician. A dedicated songwriter and guitarist, Jeff blends the precision of a professional athlete with the soulful depth of the blues—a talent honored by Buffalo Nightlife when they named him R&B Guitar Player of the Year for three consecutive years (2006–2008).

This year, Jeff is hosting the 2nd Annual Bills Alumni Music Festival on Saturday June 13, featuring local and national music acts and Buffalo Bills veterans to raise money for charity. Jeff visited the Flamingo Lounge on May 6, 2026, to talk about his music, his career with the Bills and the Music Festival.
