Thursday, July 24

Buffalo Improv House, 255 Great Arrow Ave., Suite 207, Buffalo.
Improv Mixer, a relaxed environment to try out improv or just to watch. Sign-ups at 6:45 p.m., 7 start. $5 suggested or pay what you can. 

Cagematch, an improv tradition, comes to Buffalo Improv House. Two teams perform for audience laughs and votes to be crowned winner for the night. Then the winning team returns the next week to defend their title against a new team. 9 p.m., tickets $5.

Bubba Dub, the curator of the catchphrase Trashh!!, will bring his viral media humor to life for two shows this Friday.  

Buffalo Comedy Collective, 155 Chandler Street, Buffalo.  
Comedy Sportz match-up. Two teams “competitively” play short form improv games with suggestions from the audience, who also decides the winner. 7:30 p.m., tickets $18. 

Improv Jam, improvisers of all experience levels are welcome for a $5 bucket jam. Just show up, put your name in the bucket for a chance to perform multiple times. 9:30 p.m.

Jerry Seinfeld comes to Fallsview. I don’t feel the need to mention any of his credits because if you haven’t heard of Jerry Seinfeld you might not be a comedy fan and are probably unwilling to shell out the hundreds of dollars to see him. There are only a few seats left as this story is being published.

Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, 310 4th St Niagara Falls. 8 p.m., tickets starting at $25. 
Gary Owen will appear at the region’s other house of gambling. While he isn’t a household name, in most homes, Owen “destroys” rooms. He has been performing for over two decades and starred in his own series, “The Gary Owens Show” on the BET network and a recurring role as Zach, the barber on “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.” Owen’s last special “No S” is available on Youtube for free.

Saturday, July 26

Helium Comedy Club, 30 Mississippi Street, Buffalo. 9:30 p.m., tickets $30.99.
You have one chance to see Amber Autry Saturday, her early show is sold out. Autry has been featured on Peacock TV, Drybar Comedy, and Don’t Tell Comedy and co-hosts the podcast “I’m Fine,” where comedians share stories with a trauma therapist.

Buffalo Comedy Collective, 155 Chandler Street, Buffalo.  
Death at the Disco: A 1970s themed murder mystery. The event starts out at BCC and then you board a double-decker bus and proceed to RiverWorks and the Hofbrauhaus for stops and drinks. Guests interview the actor suspects at each location. 5:30 p.m., tickets $35

ComedySportz Saturday match-up. Two teams “competitively” play short form improv games with suggestions from the audience, who also decides the winner. 6 p.m., tickets $18. 

Dynamic Duos. Six roster members from CSz Pros and BCC Shorties Program are paired up for two-person scenes. After each pair performs, the audience votes for their favorite scene and the pairs switch to do it all again, twice. The performer with the most points by the end wins. 8:30 p.m., tickets $18.

“Adventure Club” an ensemble performance class will take the stage followed by the Level One class show which will perform the Armando format, which starts with a storytelling-style monologue..

A trio of local teams, “Partners in Crime,” “Unicorn Parade,” and “Defiant Monkey”, will perform varying styles of improv sets.

Sunday, July 27

Sunday comedy at Revolver Records. Along with comedians, there will be live DJs and the bar and store will be open.

2025 Buffalo’s Funniest Final Round. Come watch your favorite local comic compete for the title and watch the other comics do their best to act like they’re happy for the winner. Mark Brucato, also known as Lil Mo Mozzarella, is an Internet personality, comedian and food critic. He will make his second trip to Buffalo in 2025. Lil Mo Mozzarella uses Italian-American tropes with a humorous twist for comedic effect.
