Thursday, January 30

Improv Mixer, a relaxed environment to try out improv or just to watch. Sign-ups at 7:15 p.m., 7:30 start. $5 suggested or pay what you can. 

Mr. Goodbar, 1110 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, 8 p.m.
Open mic comedy on the second floor. Sign-ups at 7 p.m,  Free. 

Helium Comedy Club, 30 Mississippi Street, Buffalo, 8 p.m. Tickets $32.99 – $43.99.
Gareth Reynolds has written for “Arrested Development,” and co-hosts “The Dollop,” podcast will appear at Helium. 

Friday – Sunday, Jan.  31 – Feb. 2

Desi Banks, who has amassed 15.4 million subscribers across various platforms, brings his comedy to Helium for five shows. 

Friday, January 31

Buffalo Comedysportz, Harlem Road Community Center – Theater,  4255 Harlem Rd, Buffalo, 7:30 p.m. Tickets $15. 
An all-ages improv show where two teams face off against each other playing short form improv games and the audience helps decide the winner.

Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, 310 4th St Niagara Falls. 8 p.m., tickets available. 
Bill Engvall, famous from the “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” and a Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum comedian, comes to the Seneca Casino.

Fallsview Casino Resort, 6380 Fallsview Blvd. Niagara Falls, Ontario.  8 p.m., tickets start at $59.30.
Billy Gardell has starred in the CBS series “Bob Hearts Abishola,” and “Mike & Molly” alongside Melissa McCarthy, will perform at our region’s other northern casino.

Comedy Night at Doc Sullivan’s featuring five comics.

Saturday, Feb. 1 

Buffalo Improv House, 255 Great Arrow Ave., Suite 207, Buffalo.
Adventure Club, the BIH recreational team will perform the “Spokane” improv form. 6 p.m., tickets starting at $5.

Various Factors: The Improvised Musical. A musical comedy where the characters, dialogue, songs, lyrics, melodies and choreography are improvised based on audience suggestions. 7 p.m., tickets starting at $12. 

Sunday, Feb. 2

Helium Comedy Club, 30 Mississippi Street, Buffalo, 6 p.m. Tickets $32.99 – $43.99.
Geoffrey Asmus started doing comedy after spending $143,548 on seven college degrees and has performed at “Just For Laughs” in Montreal and was featured on FOX’s “Laughs.”

Wednesday, Feb. 5
