Thursday, March 20

Gabriel Rutledge won the Seattle International Comedy Competition, The Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in Atlanta and has appeared on “Laughs on Fox,” and “Inside Joke with Asif Ali,” streaming on Amazon Prime. Rutledge’s most recent album “Good Luck in Court” debuted at no. 1 on the iTunes comedy charts and he released his book “Happiness Isn’t Funny: True Stories of a Road Comic.”

Dave Attell will perform five shows this weekend, two are sold out. Attell is a “comic’s comic,” which means other comics genuinely laugh at his jokes and mean it when they say he’s funny. Attell is 30-year veteran of standup and his new Netflix Comedy Special “Hot Cross Buns” premiered in March. He is also known for Comedy Central’s Insomniac and can be seen on “Bumping Mics” with Jeff Ross, on Netflix.

Robert Kelly and Big Jay Oakerson, both seasoned headliners will perform two nights in the Bear’s Den. The duo co-hosts the weekly podcast “The Bonfire.” Oakerson’s latest special “Them” is available on YouTube. Kelly’s special “Kill Box,” can be purchased at his website www.RobertKellylive.com.

“30 for 30, A Birthday Show,” two local comics celebrate turning 30 by performing 30 minutes apiece.

Buffalo native Andy Pitz has appeared on “The Late Show with David Letterman, Live at Gotham Comedy and is one of the most played comedians on Sirius XM Radio.

“Given Half A Chance,” pairs an actor, prepared with lines from a selected play, with a comic who improvises their lines in response to the actor. 8:30 p.m., tickets starting at $12.

Justin Whitehead started in comedy by making videos about “My 600 Pound Life,” and has been working his way up the entertainment ladder ever since then and has established himself on social media and comedy clubs across the country.
