The Local Lo-Down is produced by students at SUNY Fredonia’s student-run radio station, Fredonia Radio Systems. Each week, the crew features performers from the Fredonia music community and from the wider Western New York music scene.

This episode features the band HitGRL, a Fredonia-born group that frequently plays in the Buffalo and Fredonia music scenes. Self-identified as alternative, grunge and indie rock, the group has a unique sound. HitGRL recently released a new EP, titled “Are You Sure About This?” on March 1 with five new songs.
