Buffalo Central Labor Council AFL-CIO Labor Day Parade & Cookout. Parade lines up at Dorrance Ave & McKinley Pkwy at 10am. Parade route is McKinley to Red Jacket Pkwy to Warren Spahn Way and ends at the Cazenovia Park Casino. Cookout in the Peter J. Crotty Casino Shelter in Cazenovia Park following the conclusion of the parade. Parade kicks off at 11am

Labor Day Fair at Clarence Center Vol Fire Co, day 4 of 4. Midway rides open at 11am. Gala Parade at 12pm. Battle of the Bands at 1pm

Labor Day Weekend Festival on Old Falls Street USA, day 4 of 4. Music by Skyline Duo and Pirate Dreams. Music at 12pm

Labor for Love: A Labor Day Writing Workshop at 1412 Jefferson Ave, 14208, site of the former Afro Asian Book Shop. Pack a BBQ and come together for a community poetry and songwriting workshop with two local creators sharing their experiences of writing amid ongoing tragedy and joy, a guided teach-out, and time to try your own form of creative expression. Hosted by Justice for Geraldine and Martin and Burning Books. 1 -3pm

Speedy Parker at River Grill. 1 – 4pm

The Strictly Hip at the Sunflowers Of Sanborn N.Y. 1 – 4pm

Labor Day Potluck at Nietzsche’s. Music by The Complete Unknowns 6 – 8pm. Potluck 1 – 8pm

Michael Hund Live at Charlie’s Boat Yard. 2pm

End of Season Show at Old Man River featuring Illusions. 3 – 6pm

Innocent Bystander Rocks Buffalo at Turtle Joes Sandbar. 4pm

Jim Ronan at Balloons Restaurant & Nightclub. 6 – 9pm

Labor Day Ride with Slow Roll Buffalo. Meet at Eugene V. Debs Hall at 6pm for a ride around the neighboorhood. Return to the start for an afterparty with Cameron Burns, Community Education & Outreach Coordinator speaking on Suicide Prevention Month with Crisis Services, adoptable dogs from the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter, and refreshments. Parking available at St. Stanislaus Church. Meet at 6, ride at 630pm

Big Sugar and Gov’t Mule at Outer Harbor Live at Terminal B. Music at 630pm

Basha at Season Closer for Delaware Park Flow Jam. 7pm
