NYS DEC Public Hearing on the Environmental Justice Siting Law with Clean Air Coalition of WNY at Frank E. Merriweather, Jr. Library. Public hearing on draft amendments to the State Environmental Quality Review Act regulations that incorporate provisions of the Environmental Justice Siting Law or the “Cumulative Impacts Law”. These changes would require regulators to consider the cumulative impact of past and present pollution on a community when considering where new polluting facilities will be sited. The heating is an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on what pollutants you believe should be considered as a cumulative impact. 6pm
