A Look Back at 2024 In Chamber Music

By Frank Housh

My entry into the dark arts of music criticism is a result of my love for chamber music. Since 1990 I have regularly attended UB’s Slee Beethoven Cycle and, in 2011 I published my first review in Buffalo Spree.

Below are four reviews of chamber music performances that took place this year, all published at my own publication, Media Room.

Media Room shares some of its content with The Buffalo Hive, but only Media Room subscribers can access all reviews of the BPO, jazz concerts, rock shows, folk concerts, films, books, and comprehensive coverage of the Buffalo AKG Museum of Art.

Annual subscriptions are 20% off through the end of the month. Paid subscribers receive exclusive audio and video posts, 20 years of archives, Media Room’s “The Song of The Day” playlist at Tidal, and a complimentary subscription to American Karma, which launches January 2025. Click here to subscribe.
