Buffalo Theater Reviews: ‘Everybody’ (the really short version)

Call it the Critic Snippet. Or SSDW (So Short, Do Watch).

Actor and writer Steven Brachmann is doing short videos of current Buffalo productions in which he riffs on the show as kind of a review, kind of an homage, kind of … something.

Here’s his take on “Everybody” from the Ujima Company at the Lorna C. Hill Theater, running through Sunday, May 18.

Brachmann says: “Memento mori and tombe en merde to the cast of Ujima’s “Everybody,” which Buffalo Theater Reviews™️ says is “a Sehr gut show, ja!” There’s one more weekend to see this modern adaptation of the medieval morality play “Everyman” adapted by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins. Come for the actor lottery, stay for the quick descent into the afterlife! “Sehr gut, Sehr gut” to all involved!
