On the latest episode of the Nickel City Soundtrack, Chris & Mark were joined by Thommy Browne and Matt Brown On this episode we interviewed Thommy and Matt from the Enkindels. The Enkindels were a band from Louisville, Ky., back in the ’90s that seemed to play Buffalo/Rochester a lot back in the day.

The Sportsmen’s Tavern celebrated its 40th anniversary of ownership by Dwane and Denise Hall and their family on Saturday. Here is an assemblage of performances from both Sportsmen’s Park and the Tavern. Featured are: Wilcox Mansion The Informers The Steam Donkeys The Shadows The Morvels (with Gretchen Schulz) Rex Hobart & the Wrecks Joe Baudo Jazz (with DeeAnn DiMeo) John & Mary & the Valkyries The Twang Gang (with Dee Adams and John Culliton Mahoney). It exits, as it should, with Dwane Hall doing a guitar solo.
