Gallery: Holocaust survivor Fishel Goldig speaks at Niagara University
Photos by Chelsea Sears
Holocaust survivor Fishel Philip Goldig spoke Sunday at Niagara University.
The Montreal resident was born in Mielnica in the Ukraine, but was one of only four children from that village to survive the Holocaust.
Presented by the Lewiston Council on the Arts, Goldig spoke – and sang, too, with accompaniment from soprano Hanna Moreno, clarinetist Jacob Eichhorn, violinist Aram Feldman and pianist Elliot Sneider.
Here is Goldig’s page from the Montreal Holocaust Museum.
Photographer Chelsea Sears was there to capture the scenes. Sears is also a fine arts photographer, and her work can be found at https://chelseamodernimages.com.
