Infringement: Day Nine Recap

This is being written a day after Wet Dreamland. My apologies for the tardiness, but if you were there, you’d understand. In the spirit of unbiased journalism, I will hold off on any excerpts from my time at Nietzsche’s!

The day started out rainy and dreary so understandably that brought a barrage of cancellations. Can’t let the weather stop the show, though.

Improv and Dance was a good time, according to Bogdana (dancer and infringer); Bobby Angel rocked Allentown Music all by himself; and Milkie’s had some exciting acts (including Lil Dame and My Rap Name is Alex).

The vibe on Allen Street, with buskers, burlesque performer (Lucille Balls) and more.

Down in Allentown, a group of acoustic guitar-wielding crooners was busking at the corner of Allen and College. I thoroughly enjoyed the “starving artists”; they brought back memories.

The drag and burlesque performers were in good spirits and had the audience screaming for more. Hooked on Casiophonics followed the beautiful vocals of Erica the Ice Dragon.

This is our final day. We have come to the end of 11 days of Infringement by 1 a.m. tonight. It is not over yet, but if you haven’t had a chance to party at Infringement, then this is it for 2024.
