Infringement: The Pre-Weekend

Singing off key at a dimly lit lounge is one of my favorite pastimes. So last night, Milkie’s was where I needed to be.

It all began with Drag. Rookie Knights Presents: Drag 101, an appreciation workshop that led discussions about the history of Drag. It was complete with makeup tutorials, demonstrations, the works.

Karaoke Roulette followed, and it flowed seamlessly. If you’ve ever been to a Drag show, then you know there is lots of karaoke. The Milkie’s-renowned RyaNutz had an interesting performance. Plenty of pop rock karaoke, but nobody belted Avril Lavigne or Simple Plan, which was slightly disappointing.

Do remember that the art exhibits are still up for your viewing at Milkie’s, Amy’s Place and Caffe
Aroma.

It is the pre-weekend, and I must once again prepare you for the turn-up. There is an art to this, if you will recall. Begin with the art and film exhibits, then work your way up to the dance parties. You must curate your evening with the assortment of events, and only then you will go home satiated.
