This week’s guest is Elliot Sneider, a classically trained pianist turned jazz improviser, composer, and writer. After earning his doctorate in composition and performing with diverse groups across New York, Elliot’s musical path took a deeply personal turn. Following the loss of his wife to cancer, he founded Merciful TRVLR—a project that combines original music, spoken narrative, and improvisation to explore grief, resilience, and human connection. 

Elliot visited the Flamingo Lounge on July 20, 2026, to share his music, stories and his personal journey.
