Elliott Hunt and Chris Lillis from Letter to Elise visited the Flamingo Lounge on April 28, 2026 to share their music and story.

Born in Buffalo and built on grit, Letter to Elise delivers Rust Belt Rock ’n’ Roll that lives between heartbreak and hope. The band blends 80s-inspired alt-pop shimmer with raw, modern energy, driving guitars, soaring synths, and lyrics that hit where nostalgia meets neon.

Fresh off NBC’s The Voice (Team Reba), the group brought their harmony-driven sound and unapologetic Buffalo spirit to the national stage. Reba McEntire praised them, saying, “Not only were they singing, they were performing… I’m thrilled to death to have Letter to Elise on #TeamReba!”

Their debut record, Risen From Rust, captures that same energy, the sound of a city that never stops singing. With songs like Day Drinking and Quiet Crush, Letter to Elise is proving that Buffalo’s blue-collar heart still beats loud in modern rock.

They have shared the stage with Robby Takac of the Goo Goo Dolls, turned heads at festivals like Music Is Art, and continue to grow a loyal fan base drawn to their emotion, authenticity, and hometown pride. Letter to Elise is not just a band; it’s a sound, a story, and a reminder that from the Rust Belt, something golden can still rise.”
