Spotlight Show: Hardcore with Snapcase, Many Eyes at Town Ballroom
By Elmer Ploetz
So we all know Buffalo didn’t make the Super Bowl. But for hardcore fans, there may be something almost as good as the Bills making it into the national spotlight: Buffalo Bowl.

Buffalo Bowl on Saturday night at the Town Ballroom will feature a rare appearance by Buffalo hardcore legends Snapcase as well as a set from Many Eyes, the current band of fellow Buffalo legend Keith Buckly (Every Time I Die).
Rounding out the bill are Barbarians of California (Los Angeles) and Do Crime (Buffalo).
Snapcase has toured infrequently since dissolving in 2004, so this is a rare treat. As this writer can tell, it’s only the second show in Buffalo since 2018.
Here is a video from a festival appearance last year.
Many Eyes, meanwhile, formed in 2022 and released its first full album, “The Light Age,” last year.
Barbarians of California is an offshoot of AWOLNATION, featuring two of its members (Isaac Carpenter and Zach Irons) and with their debut album “And Now I’m Just Gnashing My Teeth” produced by AWOLNATION’s Aaron Bruno. They’ll be playing with Snapcase in Chicago on Feb. 15.
Do Crime are local stalwarts filling out the lineup.
Doors open at 6 for the show.
