Sometimes love sucks, and so do vampires. So the “Love Bites” vampire double feature at Hallwalls on Friday, Valentine’s Day, just makes sense. It’s also a fundraiser for the Buffalo International Film Festival, which doesn’t suck at all.
Hallwalls is 50 years old? How did that happen. … Yet 50 years ago today was when Hallwalls held its first event, a “conversation and lecture” with artist Robert Irwin. Tonight Hallwalls will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of that event with its “Actual 50th Birthday Bash.”
Curator John Massier delivered on his promise of a 50th Annual Members Exhibit containing “untold interior worlds, imaginings of the mind’s eye, ambition, desire, failure, redemption and fulfillment.”
