Looking to get your laugh on this weekend after a hard week? Here’s the comedy happening this weekend in WNY:  

Wednesday, Oct. 30 

Helium Comedy Club, 30 Mississippi Street, Buffalo, 7: 15 p.m. 
Lady Bunny, drag icon brings her razor wit to Buffalo for one night of comedy

Milkies, 522 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, 7 p.m. 
Comedy Open Mic Comedy. Sign-ups at 7, show starts at 9 p.m. 

Comedy at the Caz, 2221 Seneca Street, Buffalo, 8 p.m.
Featuring local comics Claire Dee, Brian Netzel, Jameel Key, Lila Vers, Gary Wallace, Jesse Winterhalter, Chelsea Mae and Claire Dee. Tickets $15-21. 

Thursday, Oct. 31 

Buffalo Improv House, 255 Great Arrow Ave., Suite 207, Buffalo
A relaxed environment to try out improv or just to watch. Sign-ups at 7:15 p.m., 7:30 start. $5 suggested or pay what you can.

Open Mic Comedy hosted by Bennett Solowski, Doors 7 p.m., show 8 p.m.

Night of the laughing Dead, 8 p.m. – Local comics perform tribute sets as their favorite comedians. Costumes encouraged. Hosted by Patrice O’Neal (Ryan Henry) and featuring Rodney Dangerfield (Don Johnson), The Amazing Jonathan (Jacob Morrison), Norm McDonald (Kyle Turner), Joan Rivers (Katie Scanlon), Louie Anderson (Andrew Joslyn), George Carlin (Kyle Tonaus).

ComedySportz Buffalo, Harlem Road Community Center Theater, 4255 Harlem Rd, Buffalo

Improv comedy played as a sport. Every game, scene and song is completely made up on the spot, inspired by suggestions from the crowd. Two teams, one winner, a zillion laughs. Adult $15, Senior/Student/Military $12. 7:30 p.m.to 9 p.m.

8 p.m. to 10 p.m $15
Featuring comics Michael Giambra, Jake Samson, Bennett Solowski, Liz Reaves and Nicky Spin. 

Saturday, Nov. 2 

Rob’s Playhouse Theater, 3200 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo
8 p.m., $15
Buffalo native Shaun Murphy, a regular at the Comedy Cellar in NYC returns to Buffalo to headline Rob’s Comedy Playhouse.

Various Factors Musical Improv Comedy, followed by Live Piano Karaoke. 7p.m. to 9 p.m., $15. 
A fully improvised musical comedy where everything is created in the moment – characters, dialogue, songs, lyrics, melodies and choreography. Inspired by audience suggestions, so it’s never the same show twice.
