Buffalo Comedy Collective, 155 Chandler Street, Buffalo. 
It’s the grand opening of Buffalo Comedy Collective/ComedySportz Bufalo’s new location. The two-day event will include ComedySportz matches, long-form improv and plenty of other comedy. Friday, April 25

Buffalo Improv House, 255 Great Arrow Ave., Suite 207, Buffalo. 

  • “Improv Collider,” two of the BIH’s house teams perform on a double bill. 7 p.m., tickets $10. 
  • College Night: Battle for Buffalo, Buffalo State University and U.B. improv teams will perform. 8 p.m., tickets $10. 
  • The New Friday Mixer, same as Thursday’s mixer, just a later time. 9:30 p.m., $10 suggested.

Community Night, home grown improv troupes will perform different styles of long form improv. 

Shea’s Performing Arts Center, 646 Main St., Buffalo. 7 p.m., tickets starting at $55. 
Jim Jefferies’s “Son of a Carpenter” worldwide tour comes to Buffalo. Jefferies has recorded 10 stand-up specials and co- wrote, executive produced and starred in the show “Legit” for FX. In 2019 he was named Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs Festival.

Rob’s Playhouse Theater, 3200 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo. 8 p.m., tickets starting at $15.  
“An Evening With Rob Lederman and Friends,” former 97 Rock DJ Rob Lederman and some of his comedy pals will perform Saturday night. 

Sunday, April 27

Revolver Records, 810 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo. 7 p.m., free.
Sunday comedy at Revolver Records. Along with comedians, there will be live DJ’s and the bar and store will be open.  

Monday, April 28

Tudor Lounge, 335 Franklin Street, Buffalo, 8 p.m. 
Comedy Open Mic Comedy. Start your week by hearing new premises and jokes. Sign-ups at 7. Free.

Tuesday-Wednesday, April 29-30

Helium Comedy Club, 30 Mississippi Street, Buffalo. 7 p.m., tickets $51.39 – $68.92.
Doug Stanhope will perform two shows at Helium.  Stanhope has picked up the Lenny Bruce mantle of comedy mixed with truth telling. 

Tuesday, April 29

Nietzsche’s, 248 Allen Street, Buffalo, 9 p.m. 
Rust Belt Comedy Showcase, Buffalo’s longest running comedy open mic. Free. 

Wednesday, April 30 

Milkies, 522 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo. 
Comedy Open Mic Comedy. Sign-ups at 7, show starts at 9 p.m. Free. 

Road Less Traveled Productions, 456 Main St., Buffalo, 7:30 p.m., tickets $20.
An improvised two-act play with a cast of experienced improvisers and a special guest, using the set of the current play running at the RLTP. 

**Note: Louie C.K. is in Buffalo but his shows are sold out. If you run into him, protect your potted plants.
