Now that temperatures have finally reached the merit roll, show off your tan or sunburn at a live comedy show.

Thursday, June 19

Buffalo Improv House, 255 Great Arrow Ave., Suite 207, Buffalo.
Improv Mixer, a relaxed environment to try out improv or just to watch. Sign-ups at 6:45 p.m., 7 start. $5 suggested or pay what you can. 

Mr. Goodbar, 1110 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, 8 p.m.
Open mic comedy on the second floor. Sign-ups at 7 p.m,  Free.

Helium Comedy Club, 30 Mississippi Street, Buffalo, 7 p.m., tickets $30.99 – 40.99.

Derrick Stroup brings his “Mad About Nothing” tour to Helium for one night. Stroup was named a New Face at JFL Montreal in 2023 and recently shot first special for Comedy Central.

Blue Room for GreenHouses: A Comedy Show for the Kids That’s Not For Kids. Over 10 comics set to perform to raise funds for IF Kids, a nonprofit that teaches children about agriculture, science, and sustainability through hands-on greenhouse and STEM education.

You have four chances to see Jess Hilarious this weekend. Hilarious has appeared on MTV’s “Wild N’ Out,” and  “All Def Comedy” on HBO. Her Instagram segment “Jess with the Mess”,, regularly garners over one million views.

Friday, June 20

Buffalo Improv House, 255 Great Arrow Ave., Suite 207, Buffalo. 

Improv Collider, two of the BIH’s house teams perform on a double bill. 7 p.m., tickets starting at $6.54. 

Good Neighbors, a monthly show featuring notable Buffalonians, telling stories which the cast use to craft scenes, with proceeds going to charity. 8 p.m., tickets starting at $13.83. 

The New Friday Mixer, same as Thursday’s mixer, just a later time. 9:30 p.m., $5 suggested/pay what you can.

Comedy Sportz match-up. Two teams “competitively” play short form improv games with suggestions from the audience, who also decides the winner. 7:30 p.m., tickets $18. 

Improv Jam, improvisers of all experience levels are welcome for a $5 bucket jam. Just show up, put your name in the bucket for a chance to perform multiple times. 9:30 p.m.

Saturday, June 21

Buffalo Comedy Collective, 155 Chandler Street, Buffalo.  

Death at the Disco: A 1970’s themed murder mystery. The event starts out at BCC and then you board a double-decker bus and proceed to RiverWorks and the Hofbrauhaus for stops and drinks. Guests interview the actor suspects at each location. 5:30 p.m., tickets $35

ComedySportz Saturday match-up. Two teams “competitively” play short form improv games with suggestions from the audience, who also decides the winner. 6 p.m., tickets $18. 

Improv Royale: Round Two. It’s the second of three qualifying rounds of competition, with three local improv teams going head to head and the winner is decided by audience vote. 8:30 p.m., $18.

Big Whoop is a NYC-based improv team and will perform a “one-world” spokane form that introduces audiences to relationships, characters and ideas at a rapid fire pace followed by . 7 p.m., tickets starting at $9.67. 

You Should Smile More. An all-female and gender nonconforming improv show, featuring Buffalo Improv House performers, students, faculty, and special guests. 7:45 p.m., tickets starting at $12. 

Pride Jam. A special improv jam for the LGBTQIA community to celebrate pride month. 8:30 p.m., suggest $8 or pay what you can.

Tudor Lounge, 335 Franklin Street, Buffalo, 8 p.m., tickets $5

Two Comics, One Set. A lineup of local comics come together for a night of standup for a special cause. 

Sunday, June 22

Revolver Records, 810 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo. 7 p.m., free.

Sunday comedy at Revolver Records. Along with comedians, there will be live DJ’s and the bar and store will be open.  

Monday, June 23

Tudor Lounge, 335 Franklin Street, Buffalo, 8 p.m. 

Comedy Open Mic Comedy. Start your week by hearing new premises and jokes. Sign-ups at 7. Free.

Tuesday, June 24

Nietzsche’s, 248 Allen Street, Buffalo, 9 p.m. 

Rust Belt Comedy Showcase, Buffalo’s longest running comedy open mic. Free.

The fourth show of the preliminary round of the “2025 Buffalo’s Funniest Person” contest where the winners are determined by audience vote. 

Wednesday, June 25
