Thursday, March 13

Buffalo Distilling Company, 860 Seneca St., Buffalo, 7 p.m.

The inaugural comedy open mic at the Distilling Company in Larkinville. Sign-ups at 6 p.m. Free. 

Buffalo Improv House, 255 Great Arrow Ave., Suite 207, Buffalo.
Improv Mixer, a relaxed environment to try out improv or just to watch. Sign-ups at 7:15 p.m., 7:30 start. $5 suggested or pay what you can. 

Mr. Goodbar, 1110 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, 8 p.m.
Open mic comedy on the second floor. Sign-ups at 7 p.m,  Free. 

Friday – Sunday, March 14 -16 

Helium Comedy Club, 30 Mississippi Street, Buffalo. Tickets $31.99 – $44.99. 

Tony Rock will perform five shows this weekend at the club. Having seven siblings, including Chris Rock, helped Tony hone his sense of humor and he has since forged his own path in comedy. Besides continuously touring, Rock played uncle Ryan in “Everyone Hates Chris” and co-starred in the CBS series “Living Biblically.”

Friday, March 14

Castles and Creatures, an improv show inspired by everyone’s favorite role playing game. 7 p.m., tickets starting at $12.

Confessions, a show guided by anonymous audience secrets. 8:30 p.m., tickets starting at $12.

Saturday, March 15 

Shea’s Performing Arts Center, 646 Main St., Buffalo. 7 p.m., tickets starting at $61.

Iliza Shlesinger’s “The Get Ready Tour” comes to Shea’s. Shiesinger got her start on “Last Comic Standing” and has six Netflix specials on her resume. She will release her next special later this year which will be available on Amazon Prime.

Good Neighbors, a monthly show featuring notable Buffalonians telling stories which improvisers use to craft scenes, with proceeds going to charity. 

Sunday, March 16

Rachel Scanlon co-hosts the podcast and nationally touring live show “Two Dykes And A Mic,” and has appeared on “Don’t Tell Comedy,” “Straight Up” and “Stand Up on Just For Laughs”, digital platform. 

Monday, March 17

Rust Belt Comedy Showcase, Buffalo’s longest running comedy open mic. Free. 

Steel Leaf Brewing, 1488 Hertel Avenue, Buffalo, 7 p.m.

Open Mic Night, a mixed open mic for music, comedy and poetry. Sign-ups 6:30 p.m. Free. 

Wednesday, March 19

Milkies, 522 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo. 

Comedy Open Mic Comedy. Sign-ups at 7, show starts at 9 p.m. Free.

Kevin James Thornton brings his heartfelt stories about growing up gay in a small religious town, dating, college life in the 90’s and finding self-acceptance and happiness. Thornton has over 700k followers and 100-million video views on social media. 

Road Less Traveled Productions, 456 Main St., Buffalo, 7:30 p.m., tickets $20.

An improvised two-act play with a cast of experienced improvisers and a special guest, using the set of the current play running at the RLTP.
