Podcast: Chris Panfil joins Rockabilly Greg in the Flamingo Lounge

The countdown to episode 200 continues this week with episode 197 featuring Buffalo Music Hall of Fame inductee, Chris Panfil.

Chris Panfil, is a seasoned solo performer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist specializing in Americana-influenced songs, Pop/Rock, and Country. His palette includes vocals, fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, and various guitar styles.

Chris is a long-time member of the award-winning bluegrass band, Creek Bend, joining in 1985 and later switching from mandolin to guitar. He is also a former Nashville studio musician who spent over a decade playing with touring acts and working as a session player. He has served as an instructor for the Bluegrass Academy for Kids for over 16 years.

Chris visited the Flamingo Lounge on December 3, 2025, to talk about his illustrious career and share his story.
