The Buffalo Hive is on its way. As we say in this intro video, we’re the solution to the problem of “Hey, why didn’t I know about that?”

The content will be coming to thebuffalohive.com when the site has been polished and is ready for primetime. Meanwhile, this is our site where we’ll be setting the stage, recruiting contributors and volunteers and giving you a look at what’s going on behind the scenes.

Our initial goals:

• Provide a comprehensive online community calendar that will bring people together from all of Western New York’s artistic and cultural communities.
• Establish a nonprofit online journalism organization that will provide intelligent, independent coverage of those communities and events through previews, review, analysis and profiles.
• Reach out to and seek representation from all of those communities that make Western New York a great place to live. 

We’ve got so much more to tell you about, but we’re going to let that fold out over the upcoming weeks as we prepare for the launch of The Buffalo Hive. We’re really excited … we’re betting you will be too!
