Infringement: Oh Snaps!

By Miggie Jean

All these emotions … we shall not contain them any longer. To get us over the hump, the songbirds delved deep into their decadence, and I support that. Sometimes we need a beautiful melody, crying and self-reflection to truly evolve.

Westside Stories hosted a literary exhibition, curated and performed by Paula Wachowiak, Jamie Kubala and Joe Todaro. They provided discourse about their various grievances in rhyme and in song, and sometimes combined.

Caffe Aroma on the other hand, opened the mic for poets and singers alike. Those who didn’t sign up for the festival were able to join in the fun.

Handsome Nancy’s also had a more intimate family setting. This time, Cellosion’s instrument of choice was the saxophone. Esther Fitz and “What Me Worry? Choir” brought the vocals.

Akloh

Down at Jack Rabbit, there was a large lineup including inSINcere, Akloh and Brian Dubay. Acoustic guitars were plentiful, the vocals were beautiful, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The bar was also pretty accessible, so all in all the singer-songwriters returned with a vengeance.

There are only four more days of Infringement. Go out and discover something interesting. Comment and let me know how much you will miss our daily tête-à-tête.
