Infringement: Topless Tuesday

Infringers brought us “Topless Tuesday,” but before we get to that part, let us discuss Richard Jezewski’s series, “Something Different In Buffalo.”

Rust Belt Books showed the series of videos featuring Richard, aka DJ Brass Knuckles, discussing upcoming events in WNY, under what appears to be a time constraint. See HERE for a better understanding, I am sure my explanation did not do justice.

I do enjoy awkward humor. Watching the Milkie’s crowd follow the free styling of comedic actors is hilarious. WNY IMPROV Comedy Improv is always a good time, and the audience enjoyed the off the wall humor.

Meanwhile, down at Nietzsche’s, The Stripteasers merged subversive comedy with dance and theatre. Buffalo’s longest running burlesque troupe showed us why they have stood the test of time: A clever, witty burlesque dance performance.

Pee Wee Gay House? Why yes, they were flaming, and every moment was a riot. Mistress J Kiss was hilarious in the role of Pee Wee. One audience member said about the performances, “The show was hilarious. I love Pee Wee Herman, and a burlesque version of his show was a lot of fun.”

Now that the serenaders and poets have rested a bit, they will be back with a vengeance. I am sure there will be plenty of verses uttered about their laborious two-day rest and all the feelings.
